Meet Dr. Angela Olmstead (Charlotte, MI)

Dr. Angela Olmstead received her Doctorate of Optometry from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University in 2010. Prior to earning her Doctorate, she completed internships at Dwayne Waters Hospital in Jackson, MI; Grand Rapids VA Medical Center in Grand Rapids, MI; MSU Neuro- Ophthalmology Clinic and Rosenbaum Eye and Laser Center in East Lansing, MI.

She is a member of the Michigan Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Olmstead participates in the Special Olympics Vision Screening in Mt. Pleasant, MI annually.

Prior to earning her Doctorate of Optometry Dr. Olmstead was a graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Physiology she completed a year of ocular diabetic retinopathy clinical research at Michigan State University preceding optometry school.

Her professional concentrations include primary care optometry, diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease management, pediatrics, contact lenses and fitting specialty eyewear lenses.
